Regular Visits

Regular visits in our office do not require as much time in the office as the first and second visit. It is our view in the office that we want patients to be outside and active with their families, so we work hard to ensure little waiting.

In the adjusting room, the doctor will again run the Nervoscope to detect any nerve pressure and to notice changes from the previous adjustment. After the instrumentation reading is noted, any necessary spinal adjustments will be given.

It is our goal that every experience in our office is an enjoyable one. As Gonstead practitioners we strive to provide the most specific and accurate chiropractic care to our patients and allow their bodies to function fully and achieve optimal health

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
