Twinsburg Chiropractor Dr. Daniel Justice

"My chiropractic story began when I was in 7th grade."

Dr. Dan JusticeIt wasn't for low back pain, or neck pain or even headaches; it was for a sprained ankle. I was an active athlete all through school but I was haunted by constant sprained ankles. I had been through the traditional approach of air casts and crutches and keeping the ankle out of a weight bearing position to let it heal, with fair, very slow results. On day I was recommended to go see a chiropractor for my ankles. This was the day that changed my life. Needless to say a mere three days after I sprained an ankle, I was back playing in a basketball game, all due to chiropractic care.

I continued to see that chiropractor after this sprained ankle incident, not just for aches and pains but for peak performance with sports and to give my body the best chance of functioning properly. You see that chiropractor explained to me that chiropractic care is not just about symptoms like low back and neck pain, or headaches or pain in the arms and legs, but it is about making sure the nervous system and body is functioning properly. This concept hit deep with me and I believe in it so much that it became my life.

A Chiropractic Education

I began my undergraduate education at Youngstown State University and finished my Bachelor of Science degree in Davenport, IA. Following my undergraduate education, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and received my Doctorate of Chiropractic.

I have had the distinct pleasure of not only treating patient's here in the United States but also having treated patients in the inland regions of Bahia, Brazil. It was a humbling experience that truly showed the wonders chiropractic care can have in a person's life.

On a Personal Note

I get adjusted at least once a week and enjoy exercising five days a week. My continuous active lifestyle also keeps me active on the weekends. If I am not in the office seeing patients, I may be off scuba diving or riding dirt bikes which are two things I greatly enjoy and which keep my active. But chiropractic and wellness are truly at the heart of my family. I am extremely passionate and work hard in order to deliver the message of chiropractic because more and more people every year are striving to live their lives are naturally as possible and I am working doing my best to ensure that possibility to as many people as I can.

The Doctor Asks some important questions of interest to Twinsburg residents - Chiropractor Twinsburg The Doctor Asks...

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
